Cabin Fever 2: Spring Fever.

Not a great movie by any stretch of the imagination, but I enjoyed the hell out of it.  Reminded me of a cheesy 80's flick in all the best ways.

THE HOUSE OF THE DEVIL.  I'm going to start taking it as a given that whenever peers praise a movie as the next great thing, it's going to make me want to gouge my eyes out with a dull, rusty butterknife and grind Ajax into the raw sockets.

ALIEN RAIDERS.  This one was simply made for SyFy Saturday afternoon viewing (or rather, avoidance).

I should probably hang myself for continuing to risk adding such things to the NetFlix que.

The Wolfman, 2010 version, and I thought it was kinda cool.

Good amount of gore, creepy settings, and the transformation scene in the asylum is one of the best I've seen in many a year.

Needless to say I'll be buying the DVD.

The House of the Devil.  I don't know about the next great thing, but I enjoyed it.  If I didn't know better, I'd think it was an actual 80's flick from Canada.

I watched Cabin Fever 2 as well. The cartoons confused me. Made me a little too happy to be horrified. Plus... it's been a helluva long time since I saw the original Cabin Fever, but that did NOT feel like a part 2 to it. Not sure what to think of it. But cheesy 80's feel? Oh yeah, most definitely.

Also saw Miss March. Not a horror movie, but I love to laugh. So I enjoyed that one.

Let the Right One In (Enjoyed it a great deal. Highly recommend it.)
Eden Log (Again, really liked it, but it is disjointed and disorienting, so not for everyone.)
Pandorum (Not bad at all. Rough around the edges, but a fun watch. The mutants, much like in Eden Log, were cool. )

Lenny the Wonder Dog.

Despite Craig Ferguson's dynamic portrayal of the greedy tycoon, I just found too many plot holes. Yes, I understand the special scientific injection made the dog talk but seriously, it wouldn't be able to restructure the tongue in a way that would be needed to actually form complex vowel sounds. I just couldn't suspend my belief that Andy Richer's voice could come out of a canine.

I did like the part where the bad guy farted though.

Farmhouse.

Yawn!  The cheese grater scene was fun, though.

City of Rott (animated)

Neat concept (senile guy battling the zombie horde with his trusty walker as he makes his way to the shoe store to find a comfortable pair of slippers), wacky animation, amusing . . . but it went all to hell in the second half.  4.5 Brains out of 10.

Alice in Wonderland, 2010 version.  Fun flick, and no one texted during the movie for a change.

Alone With Her.  Creepy, in a "this could really happen" kind of way.

Alice In Wonderland-- Yawn.  Yawwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwn.  I feel like I should sue Tim Burton for the pain in my jaw.

The Boondock Saints II: How can a 2-hour movie of nonstop action feel 6 hours long?  Troy Duffy needs a dictionary and thesaurus.  "Fuck" is not the only bomb in the arsenal.
