Concurrence. Much potential, wasted being spilled into the dust ...

Pontypool -- I really enjoyed this flick. What an original idea, imho! A virus infecting the English language, changing humans into bloodthirsty cannibals. Two thumbs up!

The Book of Eli. I fell asleep not long after it started, but my husband woke me up so I wouldn't miss anything. I wish he hadn't. It's a snooze-fest.

Last night's DVD offerings:
Primer - I'm not a quantum physicist or anything, but I "got" it. Still... WTF? Men Who Stare at Goats - It's dumb (really, really dumb). It's filled with conspiracy theory fodder. The ending is lame. And the plot meanders more than a drunken hobo. Yet, I found it... oddly satisfying. Won't see it again, but it wasn't the worst 90 minutes of my movie-watchin' life, either.

I have to admit, I liked Kick-Ass. Some funny and unexpected action. Watching Nick Cage try to talk like the original (campy-William Shatner-esque) Batman was a hoot. I also thought the kid who played Hit Girl did a bang-up job (no pun intended).

Tekken - good, fun, actiony.
Vampires Suck - I thought it was boring and tried too hard to be funny.

Predators = awesome.
Very cool "inside jokes" taken from the original film made it even awesomer.
