It was a real bummer when Frank passed on. The two artists I remember most from my school daze were Frank and The Brothers Hildebrandt. Frank's images captured the essence of several iconic characters, particularly Conan and John Carter of Mars.

"The Death Dealer" was the iconic image that I always remember of Franks.  I was very sad to hear of his passing on Monday.

He was one of my favorite, if not my most favorite, fantasy artist. He will be missed.
